See, you are relying now on Egypt, that broken reed of a staff, which will pierce the hand of anyone who leans on it. Such is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who rely on him.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession and through us spreads in every place the fragrance that comes from knowing him.

so now instead you should forgive and console him, so that he may not be overwhelmed by even worse grief.

I looked, and there was a white horse! Its rider had a bow; a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering and to conquer.
