My child, stop ignoring instruction, straying from words of knowledge.

Incline your ear, and come to me; listen, so that you may live. I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.

For the judgment you give will be the judgment you get, and the measure you give will be the measure you get.

These Jews were more receptive than those in Thessalonica, for they welcomed the message very eagerly and examined the scriptures every day to see whether these things were so.

The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

Therefore we must pay greater attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.

Like newborn infants, long for the pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow into salvation—

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
