Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” He answered him, “You say so.”

So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”

Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer? What is it that they testify against you?”
