Then in the house the disciples asked him again about this matter.

He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her,

Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

When he was alone, those who were around him along with the twelve asked him about the parables.

When he had entered the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”

Then they came to Capernaum, and when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you arguing about on the way?”
