Throughout the land that you hold, you shall provide for the redemption of the land.

If the person has no one to redeem it but then prospers and finds sufficient means to do so,

“If resident aliens among you prosper, and if any of your kin fall into difficulty with one of them and sell themselves to an alien or to a branch of the alien’s family,

If someone consecrates to the Lord a field that has been purchased that is not a part of the inherited landholding,

For you know the generous act of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rich.

He said, “Who are you?” And she answered, “I am Ruth, your servant; spread your cloak over your servant, for you are next-of-kin.”

He then said to the next-of-kin, “Naomi, who has come back from the country of Moab, is selling the parcel of land that belonged to our kinsman Elimelech.
