“If anyone of the house of Israel or of the aliens who reside among them eats any blood, I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut that person off from the people.

“And anyone of the Israelites or of the aliens who reside among them who hunts down an animal or bird that may be eaten shall pour out its blood and cover it with earth.

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

apart from the Sabbaths of the Lord and apart from your gifts and apart from all your votive offerings and apart from all your freewill offerings that you give to the Lord.

But if the sacrifice you offer is a votive offering or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that you offer your sacrifice, and what is left of it shall be eaten the next day,

bring a thank offering of leavened bread and proclaim freewill offerings, publish them; for so you love to do, O people of Israel! says the Lord God.

Then the men feared the Lord even more, and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows.

But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Deliverance belongs to the Lord!”

Look! On the mountains the feet of one who brings good tidings, who proclaims peace! Celebrate your festivals, O Judah; fulfill your vows, for never again shall the wicked invade you; they are utterly cut off.
