“O that my vexation were weighed and all my calamity laid in the balances!
“Today also my complaint is bitter; his hand is heavy despite my groaning.
let me be weighed in a just balance, and let God know my integrity!—
But now it has come to you, and you are impatient; it touches you, and you are dismayed.
Then Job answered:
The heart knows its own bitterness, and no stranger shares its joy.
