so that it might take hold of the skirts of the earth, and the wicked be shaken out of it?
For he looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens.
Thus, knowing their works, he overturns them in the night, and they are crushed.
He strikes them for their wickedness while others look on,
He does not keep the wicked alive but gives the afflicted their right.
Under the whole heaven he lets it loose, and his lightning to the corners of the earth.
“Have you commanded the morning since your days began and caused the dawn to know its place,
It is changed like clay under the seal, and it is dyed like a garment.
Let sinners be consumed from the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless the Lord, O my soul. Praise the Lord!
