Sometime after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:
Before Isaiah had gone out of the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him,
But that same night the word of God came to Nathan, saying,
to whom the word of the Lord came in the days of King Josiah son of Amon of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.
Thus the Lord said to me: Make for yourself yoke straps and bars and put them on your neck.
Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:
I, Daniel, perceived in the books the number of years that, according to the word of the Lord to the prophet Jeremiah, must be fulfilled for the devastation of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years.
