For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is also dead.
When you hide your face, they are dismayed; when you take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
When their breath departs, they return to the earth; on that very day their plans perish.
and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the breath returns to God who gave it.

Then Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” Having said this, he breathed his last.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that counts is faith working through love.
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but does not have works? Surely that faith cannot save, can it?
So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
Do you want to be shown, you senseless person, that faith apart from works is worthless?
