They shall live in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, in which your ancestors lived; they and their children and their children’s children shall live there forever, and my servant David shall be their prince forever.

I will rejoice in doing good to them, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.

Thus says the Lord God: When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered and manifest my holiness in them in the sight of the nations, then they shall settle on their own soil that I gave to my servant Jacob.

And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them; I the Lord have spoken.

Then you shall live in the land that I gave to your ancestors, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

then say to them, “Thus says the Lord God: I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone and will gather them from every quarter and bring them to their own land.

“My servant David shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd. They shall follow my ordinances and be careful to observe my statutes.

I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them, and I will bless them and multiply them and will set my sanctuary among them forevermore.

Only the prince, because he is a prince, may sit in it to eat food before the Lord; he shall enter by way of the vestibule of the gate and shall go out by the same way.”

But Judah shall be inhabited forever and Jerusalem to all generations.

I will plant them upon their land, and they shall never again be plucked up out of the land that I have given them, says the Lord your God.

Then the people of Ephraim shall become like warriors, and their hearts shall be glad as with wine. Their children shall see it and rejoice; their hearts shall exult in the Lord.

And it shall be inhabited, for never again shall it be doomed to destruction; Jerusalem shall abide in security.

and I will bring them to live in Jerusalem. They shall be my people and I will be their God, in faithfulness and in righteousness.”

The crowd answered him, “We have heard from the law that the Messiah remains forever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”

and to him Abraham apportioned “one-tenth of everything.” His name, in the first place, means “king of righteousness”; next, he is also king of Salem, that is, “king of peace.”

but this one became a priest with an oath because of the one who said to him, “The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, ‘You are a priest forever’ ”
