Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah,

While Israel lived in that land, Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine, and Israel heard of it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve.

These are the children of Bilhah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Rachel, and these she bore to Jacob—seven persons in all.

These are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt with Jacob, each with his household:

Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin,

These are the names of the men who shall assist you: From Reuben, Elizur son of Shedeur.
