“You shall not see your neighbor’s donkey or ox fallen on the road and ignore it; you shall help to lift it up.
And we urge you, brothers and sisters, to admonish the idlers, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with all of them.
I will most gladly spend and be spent for you. If I love you more, am I to be loved less?
We who are strong ought to put up with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.
But I say to you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
You shall do the same with a neighbor’s donkey; you shall do the same with a neighbor’s garment; and you shall do the same with anything else that your neighbor loses and you find. You may not withhold your help.
“A woman shall not wear a man’s apparel, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for whoever does such things is abhorrent to the Lord your God.
