“If you lend money to my people, to the poor among you, you shall not deal with them as a creditor; you shall not exact interest from them.

The slave does not have a permanent place in the household; the son has a place there forever.

So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all and especially for those of the family of faith.

And this is the manner of the remission: every creditor shall remit the claim that is held against a neighbor, not exacting it, because the Lord’s remission has been proclaimed.

On loans to a foreigner you may charge interest, but on loans to another Israelite you may not charge interest, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all your undertakings in the land that you are about to enter and possess.

“If you make a vow to the Lord your God, do not postpone fulfilling it, for the Lord your God will surely require it of you, and you would incur guilt.
