The wicked earn no real gain, but those who sow righteousness get a true reward.

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to go on ahead to you and arrange in advance for this bountiful gift that you have promised, so that it may be ready as a bountiful gift and not as an extortion.

My point is this: the law, which came four hundred thirty years later, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise.

Live by the Spirit, I say, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh.

Now this I affirm and insist on in the Lord: you must no longer walk as the gentiles walk, in the futility of their minds;

I am saying this so that no one may deceive you with plausible arguments.

For God is not unjust; he will not overlook your work and the love that you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do.
