But if you are not listened to, take one or two others along with you, so that every word may be confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses.

Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching,

someone who is blameless, married only once, whose children are believers, not accused of debauchery and not rebellious.

Anyone who has violated the law of Moses dies without mercy “on the testimony of two or three witnesses.”
