Samuel said to the people, “The Lord is witness, who appointed Moses and Aaron and brought your ancestors up out of the land of Egypt.

He sent his servant Moses and Aaron, whom he had chosen.

He opened the rock, and water gushed out; it flowed through the desert like a river.

Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel also was among those who called on his name. They cried to the Lord, and he answered them.

It was this same Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord said, “Bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt, company by company.”

It was they who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt to bring the Israelites out of Egypt, the same Moses and Aaron.

By a prophet the Lord brought Israel up from Egypt, and by a prophet he was guarded.

For I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
