Nadab son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second year of King Asa of Judah; he reigned over Israel two years.
This matter became sin to the house of Jeroboam, so as to cut it off and to destroy it from the face of the earth.
Therefore set out, go to your house. When your feet enter the city, the child shall die.
The time that Jeroboam reigned was twenty-two years; then he slept with his ancestors, and his son Nadab succeeded him.
He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, walking in the way of his ancestor and in the sin that he caused Israel to commit.
Then the people of Israel were divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni son of Ginath to make him king, and half followed Omri.
