For what human knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly God’s except the Spirit of God.
Have you listened in the council of God? And do you limit wisdom to yourself?
The heart knows its own bitterness, and no stranger shares its joy.
The human spirit is the lamp of the Lord, searching every inmost part.
The purposes in the human mind are like deep water, but the intelligent will draw them out.
The heart is devious above all else; it is perverse— who can understand it?
To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,
God has revealed to us through the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
