Now concerning our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to visit you with the other brothers and sisters, but he was not at all willing to come now. He will come when he has the opportunity.

What I mean is that each of you says, “I belong to Paul,” or “I belong to Apollos,” or “I belong to Cephas,” or “I belong to Christ.”

What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you came to believe, as the Lord assigned to each.

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared,

whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours,

Now there came to Ephesus a Jew named Apollos from Alexandria. He was an eloquent man, well-versed in the scriptures.

And as he discussed justice, self-control, and the coming judgment, Felix became frightened and said, “Go away for the present; when I have an opportunity, I will send for you.”

But an opportunity came when Herod on his birthday gave a banquet for his courtiers and officers and for the leaders of Galilee.

For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven:

While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul passed through the interior regions and came to Ephesus, where he found some disciples.

Make every effort to send Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way, and see that they lack nothing.
