Fool! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.
Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain, but if it dies it bears much fruit.
You fools! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also?
Be careful, then, how you live, not as unwise people but as wise,
Claiming to be wise, they became fools,
Then he said to them, “Oh, how foolish you are and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have declared!
But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life is being demanded of you. And the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’
And as for what you sow, you do not sow the body that is to be but a bare seed, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain.
Do you want to be shown, you senseless person, that faith apart from works is worthless?
Though its root grows old in the earth and its stump dies in the ground,
