In Jerusalem, after he came from Hebron, David took more concubines and wives, and more sons and daughters were born to David.

And of all my sons, for the Lord has given me many, he has chosen my son Solomon to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.

The descendants of Solomon: Rehoboam, Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.
