O Lord, what are human beings that you regard them, or mortals that you think of them?
What are mortals, that they can be clean? Or those born of woman, that they can be righteous?
What are human beings, that you make so much of them, that you set your mind on them,
what are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?
Yet you have made them a little lower than God, and crowned them with glory and honor.
Turn away from mortals, who have only breath in their nostrils, for of what account are they?
But someone has testified somewhere, “What are human beings that you are mindful of them, or mortals, that you care for them?
