Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman without good sense.

Do not speak in the hearing of a fool, who will only despise the wisdom of your words.

Like a dog that returns to its vomit is a fool who reverts to his folly.

Do not answer fools according to their folly, or you will be a fool yourself.

It has happened to them according to the true proverb, “The dog turns back to its own vomit,” and, “The sow is washed only to wallow in the mud.”

Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
