Then a servant-girl, seeing him in the firelight, stared at him and said, “This man also was with him.”
Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard. A servant-girl came to him and said, “You also were with Jesus the Galilean.”
When it was evening, he came with the twelve.
But Jesus said, “Let her alone; why do you trouble her? She has performed a good service for me.
Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he looked intently and his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat among them.
But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know him.”
The woman said to Peter, “You are not also one of this man's disciples, are you?” He said, “I am not.”
