And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “Prophets are not without honor except in their own country and in their own house.”

Then Jesus said to them, “Prophets are not without honor, except in their hometown, and among their own kin, and in their own house.”

And he said, “Truly I tell you, no prophet is accepted in the prophet's hometown.
