Those who are near and those who are far from you will mock you, you infamous one, full of tumult.

We have become a taunt to our neighbors, mocked and derided by those around us.

you that are full of shoutings, tumultuous city, exultant town? Your slain are not slain by the sword, nor are they dead in battle.

Thus says the Lord God: You shall drink your sister's cup, deep and wide; you shall be scorned and derided, it holds so much.
