And they sat down, and did eat and drink both of them together: for the girl’s father had said unto the man, Be content, I pray youi, and wait all night, and let youi heart be merry.

Now Avshalom [my father is peace] had commanded his servants, saying, Mark you2f now when Amnon [faithful]’s heart is merry with wine, and when I say unto you, Strike Amnon [faithful]; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant.

And when the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father in law, the girl’s father, said unto him, Behold, now the day draws toward evening, I pray you wait all night: behold, the day grows to an end, lodge here, that youi heart may be merry; and tomorrow get you early on your way, that youi may go home.

A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes merry: but money answer all [things].

Go youi way, eat youi bread with joy, and drink youi wine with a merry heart; for God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] now accepts youi works.

Then I commended gladness, because a man has no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] gives him under the sun.

[There is] nothing better for a man, [than] that he should eat and drink, and [that] he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it [was] from the hand of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].

And wine [that] makes glad the heart of man, [and] oil to make [his] face to shine, and bread [which] strengthens man’s heart.

Whether therefore you2f eat, or drink, or whatsoever you2f do, do all to the glory of God-The Father.

And Izevel [Ba’al exalts] his wife said unto him, Do youi now govern the kingdom of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]? arise, [and] eat bread, and let youri heart be merry: I will give youi the vineyard of Navot [fruits] the Yizre’eli [God Sows].

And he took [and sent] messes unto them from before him: but Binyamin’s mess was five times so much as any of theirs. And they drank, and were merry with him.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit [Ruach];

And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in law bade her.

And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.
