And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and has continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.
Whatsoever youi hand finds to do, do [it] with youi might; for [there is] no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, to which youi go.
And Rut [friendship] the Moaviah [from father: what father?] said unto Na’omi [my delight], Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after [him] in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.
And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It [is] the Moavi [from father: what father?] girl that came back with Na’omi [my delight] out of the country of Mo’av [Seed of my Father]:
Then said Bo’az [a high rate of movement] unto Rut [friendship], Hear youi not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:
And Rut [friendship] the Moavi [from father: what father?] said, He said unto me also, youi shall keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest.
