And Bo’az [a high rate of movement] said unto her, At mealtime come youi here, and eat of the bread, and dip youi morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched [corn], and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.

And she took [it] up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed.

All of them ate and were satisfied. They also ate the fish according to what they desired. After they had finished, they took the fragments, which remained, and filled twelve baskets with them.

Then Avigayil [my father is joy] made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of parched [corn], and an hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid [them] on asses.

And Yishai [I possess] said unto David [beloved] his son, Take now for youi brethren an eifah of this parched [corn], and these ten loaves, and run to the camp to youi brethren;

And I will send grass in youi fields for youi cattle, that youi may eat and be full.

Then she said, Let me find favour in youri sight, my lord; for that youi have comforted me, and for that youi have spoken friendly unto youi female servant, though I be not like unto one of youri handmaidens.

And when she was risen up to glean, Bo’az [a high rate of movement] commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach (disgrace; shame) her not:
