Psalm 1:1New Messianic Version BibleBlessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [is] the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. See the chapter |
For the time past of [our] life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Goyim [Gentiles], when we walked in lasciviousness (being lustful, loose or lewd; promoting lustful desires in others), lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings (drinking, gluttony; rich partying), and abominable idolatries:
And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Yarov’am [the people will contend] the son of N’vat [aspect], that he took to wife Izevel [Ba’al exalts] the daughter of Etba’al [with Ba’al] king of the people of Tzidon [Hunting], and went and served Ba’al [lord (a false god)], and worshipped him.
Happy [are] youi, O Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]: who [is] like unto youi, O people saved by the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), the shield of youi help, and who [is] the sword of youi excellency! and youi enemies shall be found liars unto youi; and youi shall trample upon their high places.
