Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.


Now I beseech (to call upon; appeal; beg) you, brethren, Mark [a defense] them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you2f have learned; and avoid them.


For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it has no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow (to approve, commend, accept) it up.


Then said he unto me, Son of man, these [are] the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:


But the wicked [are] like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.


The instruments also of the rude (unskilled, unrefined or unlearned) [are] evil: he devises wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaks right.


He that sows iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.


The way of man [is] perverse (twisted) [habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition] and strange: but [as for] the pure, his work [is] right.


Devise not evil against youi neighbour, seeing he dwells securely by youi.


Who rejoice to do evil, [and] delight in the frowardness of the wicked;


He devises mischief upon his bed; he sets himself in a way [that is] not good; he abhors not evil.


Which imagine mischiefs in [their] heart; continually are they gathered together [for] war.


An ungodly man digs up evil: and in his lips [there is] as a burning fire.


He that has a perverse (twisted) [habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition] heart finds no good: and he that has a perverse tongue falls into mischief.


He that devises to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.


They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders’ poison [is] under their lips. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said].


For the perverse (twisted) [habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition] [is] abomination to the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]: but his secret [is] with the righteous.


Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth [shall be] to them that devise good.
