Happy [is] the man [that] finds wisdom, and the man [that] gets understanding.
Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeks [and] intermeddles with all wisdom.
If youi seek her as silver, and searches for her as [for] hid treasures;
It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed [for] the price thereof.
They [are] all plain to him that understands, and right to them that find knowledge.
Neither [is] it beyond the sea, that youi should say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom [is] above rubies.
The topaz of Ethiopia [Kush] shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.
The law of youri mouth [is] better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
How much better [is it] to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
