By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.

Pinchas [mouth of brass], the son of El’azar [God has helped], the son of Aharon [Bright, Very High] the priest, has turned my wrath away from the people of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the people of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] in my jealousy.


And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was detained (held).


[If] a wise man contends with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, [there is] no rest.


A soft answer turns away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
