A fool utters all his mind: but a wise [man] keeps it in till afterwards.

The discretion of a man defers his anger; and [it is] his glory to pass over a transgression.


A fool’s wrath is presently known: but a prudent [man] covers shame.


Trust you2f not in a friend, put you2f not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of youi mouth from her that lies in youi bosom.


Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it [is] an evil time.


Wisdom rests in the heart of him that has understanding: but [that which is] in the midst of fools is made known.
