Proverbs 29:1New Messianic Version BibleHe, that being often reproved hardens [his] neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. See the chapter |
And he also rebelled against king N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown], who had made him swear by God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God].
And Eliyahu [my God is Yehovah] the Tishbi [captivity], [who was] of the inhabitants of Gil’ad [Rocky Region], said unto Ach’av [father’s brother], [As] the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that [the king] said unto him, Are youi made of the king’s counsel? refrain (restrain; refrein from acting); why should youi be smitten? Then the prophet forbare, and said, I know that God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has determined to destroy youi, because youi have done this, and have not listened unto my counsel.
