When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bears rule, the people mourn.


They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.


When righteous [men] do rejoice, [there is] great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.


And in every province, and in every city, to wherever the king’s commandment and his decree came, the Y’hudim (Judeans) had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Y’hudim (Judeans); for the fear of the Y’hudim (Judeans) fell upon them.


He that gives unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hides his eyes shall have many a curse.


He, that being often reproved hardens [his] neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.


And he was with them hid in the house of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] six years: and ‘Atalyahu [afflicted of the Lord] reigned over the land.
