A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that makes haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

Wealth [gotten] by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathers by labour shall increase.


Fear none of those things which youi shall suffer (allow, to let, permit): behold, the devil shall cast [some] of you into prison, that you2f may be tried; and you2f shall have tribulation ten days: be youi faithful unto death, and I will give youi a crown of life.


He that hastes to be rich [has] an evil eye, and considers not that poverty shall come upon him.


An inheritance [may be] gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous).


Blessings [are] upon the head of the just: but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

Labour not to be rich: cease from youi own wisdom.


Most men will proclaim everyone his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?


Whoso mocks the poor reproaches his Maker: [and] he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.


Then Achi-Melekh [my brother is king] answered the king, and said, And who [is so] faithful among all youri servants as David [beloved], which is the king’s son in law, and goes at youi bidding, and is honourable in youri house?


“What do you think of the faithful and wise slave whose Adon [Lord - Kurios of the earth] places over His children to give them food in its time?”.


“His Adon [Lord - Kurios of the earth] said to him: ‘Truly you are a good and faithful slave. Because you have been faithful in a little, I will appoint you over much; enter into the joy of your Adon [Lord - Kurios of the earth]’”.


Also, [that] the soul [be] without knowledge, [it is] not good; and he that hastes with [his] feet sins.
