By much slothfulness the building decays; and through idleness of the hands the house drops through.


For thus says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) to the men of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] and Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], Break up your fallow (to approve, commend, accept) ground, and sow not among thorns.


And now go forth; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; [and] break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trampled down:


But that which bears thorns and briers [is] rejected, and [is] near unto cursing; whose end [is] to be burned.


“That which fell among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word and in his desire to gather wealth, Satan [the adversary] causes him to forget the word of Elohim (The Many Powered) [The Living Word of God] and makes no fruit.”


“Some of it fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew and darkened it.”


For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe [a man] with rags.


The slothful [man] says, [There is] a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets.


The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; [therefore] shall he beg in harvest, and [have] nothing.


The fear of the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [tends] to life: and [he that has it] shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.


Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle (a weed resembling wheat) instead of barley. The words of Iyov [hated] are ended.


Among the bushes they groan (wail; make a foul noise)ed; under the nettles they were gathered together.


Then I saw, [and] considered [it] well: I looked upon [it, and] received instruction.


The soul of the sluggard desires, and [has] nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.


And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor excavated; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
