Thorns [and] snares [are] in the way of the perverse (twisted) [habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition]: he that does keep his soul shall be far from them.

The way of the slothful [man is] as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous [is] made plain.


We know that whosoever is born of God-The Father sins not; but he that is begotten of God-The Father keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not.


The highway of the upright [is] to depart from evil: he that keeps his way preserves his soul.


He that keeps the commandment keeps his own soul; [but] he that despises his ways shall die.


Good understanding gives favour: but the way of transgressors [is] hard.

By humility [and] the fear of the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [are] riches, and honour, and life.


In the transgression of an evil man [there is] a snare: but the righteous does sing and rejoice.


The way of the wicked [is] as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
