Likewise, you2f younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yes, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God-The Father resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.


A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,


And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) alone shall be exalted in that day.


The fear of the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the perverse (twisted) [habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition] mouth, do I hate.


And he that doubts is judged if he eat, because [he eats] not of faith: for whatsoever [is] not of faith is sin.


I tell you, this man went down to his house justified [rather] than the other: for every one that exalts himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.


Moreover the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) says, Because the daughters of Tziyon [parched place] are arrogant (proud; lifted up), and walk with stretched forth necks and seductive eyes, walking and mincing (taking short, quick steps) [as] they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:


The sacrifice of the wicked [is] abomination: how much more, [when] he brings it with a wicked mind?


The sacrifice of the wicked [is] an abomination to the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]: but the prayer of the upright [is] his delight.


The wicked, through the pride of his Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor), will not seek [after God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]]: God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] [is] not in all his thoughts.


The proud looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) alone shall be exalted in that day.


[There is] a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.


The light of the body is the eye: therefore when youri eye is single, youri whole body also is full of light; but when [youri eye] is evil, youri body also [is] full of darkness.


For there shall be no reward to the evil [man]; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.


Yes, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.


The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.


Whoso secretly slanders his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that has an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.


Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], my heart is not arrogant (proud; lifted up), nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.


These six [things] does the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] hate: yea, seven [are] an abomination unto him:


For this reason it shall come to pass, [that] when the Lord-Adonai (The Father) [Greatest Above All Things] has performed his whole work upon mount Tziyon [parched place] and on Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Ashur [the level plain] (the land of the sons of Shem (name, renown (great reputation; being well-known))), and the glory of his high looks.
