Every way of a man [is] right in his own eyes: but the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] ponders the hearts.

All the ways of a man [are] clean in his own eyes; but the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] weighs the spirits.


There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.


And he said unto them, You2f are they which justify yourselves before men; but God-Theos knows your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God-Theos.


I the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) search the heart, [I] try the eins (literally, kidneys; figuratively, seat of emotion), even to give every man according to his ways, [and] according to the fruit of his doings.


[There is] a generation [that are] pure in their own eyes, and [yet] is not washed from their filthiness.


But the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) said unto Sh’mu’el [His name is El], Look not on his Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor), or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for [the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) sees] not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) looks on the heart.


If youi say, Behold, we knew it not; does not he that ponders the heart consider [it]? and he that keeps youi soul, does [not] he know [it]? and shall [not] he render to [every] man according to his works?


But be you2f doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.


For he flatters himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.


For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.


Most men will proclaim everyone his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?


And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searches the reins (literally, kidneys; figuratively, seat of emotion) and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.


The way of a fool [is] right in his own eyes: but he that hearkens unto counsel [is] wise.


Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] may know my integrity.


The fining pot [is] for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] tries the hearts.
