[It is] an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

[He that is] slow to anger [is] better than the mighty; and he that rules his spirit than he that takes a city.


The beginning of strife [is as] when one lets out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.


And be you2f kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God-The Father for Moshiach [Messiah]’s sake has forgiven you.


The discretion of a man defers his anger; and [it is] his glory to pass over a transgression.


[He that is] slow to wrath [is] of great understanding: but [he that is] hasty of spirit exalts folly.


From from what place [come] wars and fightings among you? [come they] not hence, [even] of your lusts that war in your members?


A fool’s lips enter into contention, and his mouth calls for strokes.


But if you2f have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.


Proud [and] arrogant (proud; lifted up) scorner [is] his name, who deals in proud wrath.


[He that is] soon angry deals foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.


And Y’ho’ash [given by the Lord] the king of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] sent to Amatzyah [Yehovah is mighty] king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], saying, The thistle that [was] in L’vanon [Whiteness] sent to the cedar that [was] in L’vanon [Whiteness], saying, Give youri daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that [was] in L’vanon [Whiteness], and trampled down the thistle.


And there was a strife between the herdsmen of Avram’s (Exalted Father; Father Of Elevation) cattle and the herdsman of Lot’s (Covering) cattle: and the Kena’ani (merchants; traders; or those that humble and subdue) and the P’rizi dwelled then in the land.


And Avram (Exalted Father; Father Of Elevation) said unto Lot (Covering), Let there be no strife, I pray youi, between me and youi, and between my herdsman and youri herdsman; for we [be] brethren.


He that passes by, [and] meddles with strife [belonging] not to him, [is like] one that takes a dog by the ears.
