Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work [be] pure, and whether [it be] right.

“By their deeds you will know them. Does a man gather grapes from thorns or figs from briars?”


The way of man [is] perverse (twisted) [habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition] and strange: but [as for] the pure, his work [is] right.


The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.


For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord - Kurios, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit [Ruach HaKodesh], even from his mother’s womb.


Behold, I was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.


And all they that heard [them] laid [them] up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord - Kurios was with him.

The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] has made even both of them.


For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of David [beloved] his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] and Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace] from the high places, and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images.
