A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool’s back.


In the lips of him that has understanding wisdom is found: but a rod [is] for the back of him that is void of understanding.


If youi be wise, youi shall be wise for yourself: but [if] youi scorn, youi alone shall bear [it].


For whom the Lord - Kurios loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.


For the terrible one is brought to nothing, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:


Now therefore be you2f not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord-Adonai [Greatest Above All Things] GOD-Yehōvih (THE FATHER) Ts’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies] a consumption (diseae that eats the body; destruction), even determined upon the whole earth.


A fool’s lips enter into contention, and his mouth calls for strokes.


A reproof (rebuke; scolding) enters more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool.


He goes after her immediately, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;


Surely he scorns the scorners: but he gives grace unto the lowly.


And it shall be, if the wicked man [be] worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number.


Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [is] the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.


And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate). And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.


How long, you2f simple ones, will you2f love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?


I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
