A slothful [man] hides his hand in [his] bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.
The way of the slothful [man is] as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous [is] made plain.
Slothfulness casts into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.
The slothful [man] roasts not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man [is] precious.
And he answered and said unto them, [It is] one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.
He answered them: “He who dips his hand with me in the dish, will sell me”. All of them were eating from one dish. Therefore, they did not recognize him; because if they had recognized him they would have destroyed him.
Why withdraw youi youri hand, even youri right hand? pluck [it] out of youri bosom.
The desire of the slothful kills him; for his hands refuse to labour.
