Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.
“What profit is there for a man if he should gain the whole world and lose his soul forever; what good exchange does a man make if, for present things that are spoiled, he should give his soul to the judgment of Gei-Hinnom [hell, valley of evil counsel]?”
But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and you2f shall be my people: and walk you2f in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
Thorns [and] snares [are] in the way of the perverse (twisted) [habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition]: he that does keep his soul shall be far from them.
