As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly (fitting; proper) for a fool.


Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and [your] joy to heaviness.

Excellent speech becomes not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.
