Pride [goes] before destruction, and an arrogant (proud; lifted up) spirit before a fall.

[When] pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly [is] wisdom.


Before destruction the heart of man is arrogant (proud; lifted up), and before honour [is] humility.


A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.


Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.


Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and youi stand by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:


He loves transgression that loves strife: [and] he that exalts his gate seeks destruction.


So Haman [magnificent] came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delights to honour? Now Haman [magnificent] thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself?


So they hanged Haman [magnificent] on the gallow (to approve, commend, accept)s that he had prepared for Mordekhai [little man]. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.


And youi his son, O Belshazzar, have not humbled youi heart, though youi knew all this;


And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisrokh [the great eagle] his god, that Adramelekh [honor of the king, or Adar is prince] and Shar’etzer [prince of fire] his sons struck him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat [the curse reversed] [the curse reversed: precipitation of curse]: and Esar-Hadon [Ashur has given a brother] his son reigned in his stead.


And when Haman [magnificent] saw that Mordekhai [little man] bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman [magnificent] full of wrath.


Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written.


Then he began to deny and to swear that at no time had he known him. Immediately the cock crowed.


And when the P’lishtim [immigrants] looked about, and saw David [beloved], he disdained him: for he was [but] a youth, and ruddy (reddish hair or complexion), and of a fair Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor).


The fear of the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the perverse (twisted) [habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition] mouth, do I hate.


You1s terribleness has deceived youi, [and] the pride of youri heart, O youi that dwell in the clefts of the rock, that holds the height of the hill: though youi should make youri nest as high as the eagle, I will bring youi down from there, says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).


And the land of Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place] shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I [am] the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate): because he has said, The river [is] my, and I have made [it].


However the king of the children of ‘Amon [Inbred] listened not unto the words of Yiftach [He Opens] which he sent him.


And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him.


Your1s heart was lifted up because of youri beauty, youi have corrupted youri wisdom by reason of youri brightness: I will cast youi to the ground, I will lay youi before kings, that they may behold youi.


[And] when he has taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down [many] ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened [by it].


And he that bade youi and him come and say to youi, Give this man place; and youi begin with shame to take the lowest room.
