He that is greedy of gain troubles his own house; but he that hates gifts shall live.

So [are] the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; [which] takes away the life of the owners thereof.


And youi shall take no gift: for the gift blinds the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous.


[As] the partridge sits [on eggs], and hatches [them] not; [so] he that gets riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.


He that troubles his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool [shall be] servant to the wise of heart.


youi shall not wrest judgment; youi shall not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift does blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.


Moreover youi shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], men of truth, hating covetousness; and place [such] over them, [to be] rulers of thousands, [and] rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:


The king by judgment establishes the land: but he that receives gifts overthrows it.


The prince that wants understanding [is] also a great oppressor: [but] he that hates covetousness shall prolong [his] days.


An inheritance [may be] gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous).


As righteousness [tends] to life: so he that pursues evil [pursues it] to his own death.


The leprosy therefore of Na’aman [Pleasantness] shall cling unto youi, and unto youri descendants forever. And he went out from his presence a leper [as white] as snow.


And you2f, in any wise keep [yourselves] from the accursed thing, lest you2f make [yourselves] accursed, when you2f take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] a curse, and trouble it.


Neither shall youi bring an abomination into youi house, lest youi be a cursed thing like it: [but] youi shall utterly detest it, and youi shall utterly abhor it; for it [is] a cursed thing.


But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.


For the love of money is a root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.


Behold, here I [am]: witness against me before the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received [any] bribe to blind my eyes with that? and I will restore it you.


The thoughts of the wicked [are] an abomination to the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]: but [the words] of the pure [are] pleasant words.


Labour not to be rich: cease from youi own wisdom.


He that is of a proud heart stirs up strife: but he that puts his trust in the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] shall be made fat.


And Shime’i [Fame] arose, and saddled his ass, and went to Gat [Winepress] to Akhish [meaning disputed; I will blacken (or terrify) or only a man] to seek his servants: and Shime’i [Fame] went, and brought his servants from Gat [Winepress].


[He that] puts not out his money to usury (interest paid for using money), nor takes reward against the innocent. He that does these [things] shall never be moved.
